CMO: How would you describe your style of music for those who have not heard you yet?

Bluesy and soulful country. Songs that many people can relate to.

CMO: What goals have you accomplished and what do you still want to accomplish with your music career?

I've played the Opry and played on National Television (Good Morning America, Leno, CMT). I still want to make many more records, headline my own tour one day, and along the way, be able to support my family. I want to keep more and more people. I love watching the way that my music affects them whether it makes them smile how they can relate to what I'm saying.

CMO: What is your motivation behind your accomplishments and what continues to motivate you?

This is what I love and what I've always wanted to do. My whole life, I've felt in my heart that this is what God wants me to do with my life. I feel like it's my purpose. All aspects of this are really rewarding to me.

CMO: How would you describe the whole process of recording your album, and what is a typical day in the studio like for you?

There is really no typical day in the studio. Depending on the part of the process whether it's tracking with musicians, overdubbing, mixing. I enjoyed all of it and wanted to be there for as much as possible. It was an amazing experience for me to see how much work and how much time goes into making an album. On the days I wasn't singing, I just watched and learned.

CMO: Do you ever plan to work with the production on your albums?

Maybe - I learned so much from Brent while I was in the studio. It would be a challenge but I would be up for it after a

couple more albums.

CMO: What do you like about touring? What do you dislike?

I love meeting new people and playing in new cities every night. I've never been able to see the country until this year, and it's great to be able to do it while doing what I love. I dislike how stressed some people are in airports- it makes me nervous.

CMO: If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and why?

Dolly Parton - she is amazing and one of my life-long idols.

CMO: One of my favorite songs on your album is called "Rain on a Tin Roof." How did this song come about and why did you decide to record it on this album?

I heard "Rain on a Tin Roof" at a writers' night way before I had a record deal. When I got my record deal, I remembered it and found out that no one had recorded it yet. I decided to record it. It was originally written for a man to sing, but the writer changed the lyrics so that I could record it and put it on my album.

CMO: Can you tell us about your favorite song that you have written? What does it mean to you? Why did you write it?

I've written lots of songs about my life. I have one song that is not about my life that I love. It's called "Outta Santa Fe". It's not a deep song. It's just fun, and that's why I love it!

CMO: What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in the industry whether it is as an artist, songwriter or even through the business aspect?

Work at your craft and develop your own style that makes you different from everyone else trying to make it. Make your own way by meeting people in the industry with experience that can give you advise on what you need to do to open doors. Play anywhere you can. Be patient and persistent! Finally, let God guide you.

CMO: Is there anything that you would like to say to your fans reading this?

Thank you so much for all of your support! You are helping to make my dreams come true. I'm having a blast meeting you all on the road.
